Marty Conrad began his management career with the Encinitas office of Sun Harbor Realty. In 1993, Coldwell Banker acquired Sun Harbor and Conrad became Branch Sales Manager of Coldwell Banker Encinitas. During his tenure the Encinitas office has been designated a Premier Office each year. The office is a leader in its marketplace and has been the top office for Coldwell Banker in San Diego County in terms of operating profit and closed transactions in 10 our of the past 13 years.

Conrad began his career in 1977 upon release from active duty with the United States Marine Corps. He has been a licensed broker since 1978. His experience as a Sales Associate and as a Real Estate Broker is deep. He was named the Coldwell Banker Southern California Manager of the Year in 1997 and the San Diego Region Manager of the Year in 1996.

Conrad served as President of the San Dieguito Association of Realtors in 1989. He has also served 10 years as a Director of the California Association of Realtors and has chaired the C.A.R. MLS/Business Technology Committee and the Board Legal Forum. He retired from the United States Marine Corps Reserve in 2002 at the rank of Colonel with 29 years of total service. He is a veteran of Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm and participated in the liberation of Kuwait . He served as the Commanding Officer of the Fourth Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion form 1993 to 1995. His personal decorations include the Combat Action Ribbon, Navy Commendation Medal and the Meritorious Service Medal.

Conrad has three children and resides in La Costa. In his spare time he enjoys woodworking and motorcycling.
